Our codfish and salmon are caught one at a time using a fishhook. This technique, as oppose to fishing with nets, does not damage the flesh as the fish are not subjected to pressure or heavy blows. It is also an extremely environmentally-friendly method that minimises the damage caused to other species and the seafloor.
